Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Logan loves the camaraderie of education. Half the fun of science for him is thinking his way through how he wants to turn the family home's crawlspace into a robot factory assembly line, while the other half is collaborating with his classmates, looking for input to improve his ideas. He is fascinated with the systematic nature of Minecraft and will willingly spend hours with his classmates "think-tanking" how to create complex redstone systems and machines. He is always looking to learn more.
Favorite Subject & Why
Logan combines a love of both Art and Science. An odd couple combination: the creativity fuels his inspiration, while the programmatic approach of science allows him to consider the reality of bringing his inventions to reality. Being on the Spectrum, Logan finds systematic thinking associated with science a channel for his thoughts, providing a touchstone of focus that helps ground him in his day-to-day, while the expressiveness of art offers a sort of pressure-release valve.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Being the oldest of three siblings, Logan understands that, while supportive of him, his family cannot afford to pursue every interest. A $20,000 award would relieve some of the financial burden associated with his ABA therapy, provide him with a computer he has been saving for 2 years to build with his father, and allow him to pursue some amazing wishlist opportunities, such as robotics camp or space camp.
Help Logan become America's Favorite Student by casting your free daily vote, or make an even bigger impact when you vote by donation, supporting The Planetary Society and their mission to inspire curiosity and help shape the future of space exploration for everyone.
Limited-time: 2X donation votes ends on Wed 4/1 at 9PM PDT
