My child loves being a student because ever since she was a kid, people have underestimated her capacity for learning due to the fact that she has a disability however, she has a voracious appetite for learning new things, discovering old things and, being an innovator.

My child’s favorite subject is reading because she says and I quote,”I could just lose myself in all the different ways to escape reality.” However, she has taken a liking to principles of criminal justice. It has opened her mind up to the atrocities of the past, the present, and future.

This $20,000 scholarship would support my childhood goals because it is always been her dream to go to an Ivy League or a high ranked college. With the help of this scholarship, and many others, and with her own vigor, her dream can be realized
