Favorite Subject & Why
MaKenna’s favorite subject is space she states, “ Looking at the night sky gives me a perspective. The stars continue to remind me that hardship is temporary. They remain visible and steady even in complete darkness. This constancy reassures me that light can exist beside difficultly! Knowing how vast the universe is makes my difficulties feel lighter, not because they don’t matter, but because they don't define everything. And I can’t wait until the cosmos has finally acknowledged my presence.
