Why They Love Being a Student

He loves learning new things. School is hard for him socially so he really just focuses on academics. Even when the assignment is complete he will go online and research more because he just loves having as much info as possible. He has some great teachers that have really helped build his confidence. He knows that good grades equal a good future and he is excited to advance every day.

Favorite Subject & Why

Math is his favorite with science as a close 2nd. Math has always came naturally to him so it’s easy and he likes coming up with the answer when nobody else can figure it out. He loves science because there is such a wide range of things to learn so it never gets boring. Learning how and why things work has always been of great interest to him.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

We are a low income family so college isn’t going to be possible without scholarships and grants. This would give him a great head start on college savings and make him feel more secure about his future.
