My sweet girl, so soft and shy, yet so brave in your own quiet way. You walk into first grade with gentle smiles & curious eyes, ready to learn everything the world will teach you. You may be quiet, but your eagerness shines so brightly. Watching you grow, ask questions, & love learning the way you do fills my heart more than you’ll ever know. I’m so proud of the beautiful, thoughtful little soul you are.

Favorite Subject & Why

Art is my daughter’s favorite because it lets her soft, shy heart speak without needing words. In the quiet of coloring & painting, she feels free to express everything she’s thinking & feeling. There’s no pressure to be loud or first—just imagination, color, & creativity. She loves turning simple ideas into something beautiful, & I think she feels most confident when her hands are creating what her voice is still learning to say.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would greatly support my child’s educational success by providing access to tutoring, enrichment programs, books, & technology that nurture her love of learning. It would allow her to explore subjects like art more deeply while strengthening core academic skills. This support would reduce financial strain, create stability, & open doors to opportunities that help her grow with confidence & reach her full potential. She’s an SA survivor & would also benefit from better therapy.
