Why They Love Being a Student

Michael loves being a student because he loves to learn. In fact he loves to learn so much that he can play about 10 musical instruments. This is his first year in high school and for the very first time ever he has straight A's. If that's not dedication and loving to learn I don't know what is.

Favorite Subject & Why

Michaels favorite subject is Math. Michael learned at a young age that math and money go hand in hand. Michael learned that math is everywhere. When he would go help with some landscaping he said, "Mom, did you know we had to measure the yard where were going to work with and they charge according to how big the yard is?" He was excited about learning about geometry and how it works.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Michael wants to continue his education. He wants to become a prestigious Attorney and then move on to become a judge for the Supreme Court. I am a single mom of 7 kids. Two of them moved out of the house. I have 5 that actually want to go to college. Michael is the one who has the straight A's and this money would really help him. He is very smart and it's such a waste for him not to be able to go to college due to funding. Not because he is my son, but he actually has a bright future ahead.
