Why They Love Being a Student

Myra knows knowledge is power and seeks to learn everything she can about the universe, life, and nature. She plans to use her knowledge and gained skills as she gets older to make positive impacts on the world by planting trees, helping with animal rescue(s), and by educating others on the importance of protecting our planet and Earth's life forms. Myra hopes to someday create a conservation foundation to protect the natural world, resources, & animals. She knows that all begins with learning.

Favorite Subject & Why

Myra's favorite subject is Science, including many subcategories within. She is very interested in Biology, Ecosystems, Botany, Marine Biology, and many more. She often thinks of creative ways to support a healthy planet and protecting wild spaces so nature can not only survive, but thrive, as well as expanding her understanding of the need for humans to coexist with the natural world making the smallest "footprints" possible. She hopes to someday expand available protections for nature.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

This award would help Myra work towards her conservation dreams & goals by providing a financial lifeline she can put into savings for now, and allocate into conservation efforts/impacts, while gaining life experience attending seminars & participating in nature projects/ research. This will significantly aid in creating her own conservation foundation network to support education on nature, wildlife, and why it's important to co-exist. "A clean Earth is a happy Earth," Myra often says.
