Why They Love Being a Student

Nathan has been a straight-A student since pre-k because he truly loves learning.Whether he’s competing with the Emerald Tigers robotics team, being part school’s leadership club, or practicing for e-sports, he’s always looking for the next challenge. He doesn't just want to learn science; he wants to use it to find cures for diseases. Seeing him dive into his own creative projects at home makes me truly believe he has the drive to reach his dreams and make an impact in this world.

Favorite Subject & Why

Math and science. Numbers came naturally to him from a young age. When he was 2 years old. He asked me for skittles, put them in a pattern around a plate and asked me to pour hot water in the middle. That tiny experiment was the spark that never went out; since that day, he has never stopped working on science, asking "why" or "how" something works, reading and learning to solve different cubes, even making patterns and flags on the Rubik’s cube.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

This award would directly support Nathan’s goal of attending private school and would be a game changer for Nathan’s education, specifically in the science field, this would allow us to invest in equipments, he needs. He could take courses, in the universities he wants to, he needs to keep his momentum going. Nathan is a student who thrives even when pushed, and this award would give him the freedom to focus on the independent projects that are shaping him into a future leader he will become.
