Nathan is not afraid of a challenge and genuinely loves to try and explore new concepts and topics. It’s very fulfilling to watch him understand certain aspects of a lesson and watch him connect it to other areas of study. Spending time with his friends and trying new things brings him so much joy.
Favorite Subject & Why
Although Nathan has shown great promise in all areas of study, I can tell he genuinely loves reading. He has found great joy in reading chapter books, especially which artwork as he is an exceptionally great artist for his age. I have a feeling English will continue to be a favorite, however I see science, particularly biology and astronomy becoming favorites in years to come due to his curiosity of the human body and the solar system.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
This award would mean so much to Nathan, as it would help kickstart his college savings. With as bright of a mind as he has, I am certain that he will be pursuing higher education, possibly graduate school in any field of his choosing.
