Why They Love Being a Student

My child loves being a student because they’re curious about everything and feel proud when they learn something new. School gives them a chance to ask questions, make friends, and discover what they’re capable of. They enjoy the structure, the encouragement from teachers, and the feeling of accomplishment when they solve a problem or understand a new concept. Most of all, they love growing and seeing their own progress.

Favorite Subject & Why

My child’s favorite subject is math because they love solving problems and figuring things out step by step. They enjoy the challenge and the feeling of getting the right answer after working through it.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would give my child the opportunity to attend a high-quality summer camp designed for autistic children on the higher end of the spectrum. In that environment, he would be surrounded by peers who understand him, allowing him to build meaningful friendships, strengthen social skills, and grow in confidence.
