Why They Love Being a Student

My son loves learning. He’s strives to know how things work, what the past has taught us and how the future can change. His mind is an endless canvas of ready to paint a bigger world. Knowledge is his motivator but sharing his knowledge is his real power. He’s always sharing what he’s learned with everyone. He cares so much about others and wants to spread the joys he’s learning.

Favorite Subject & Why

Science, art, music, reading. His hyper focus is space, natural disasters and Dinosaurs. He prides him self in expanding his knowledge by asking the librarians for books on moons, dinosaurs, hurricanes. Looking for videos at home that explain gravity, black holes, what dinosaurs eat what, how much the weighted.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Like many there’s no guarantee that he will be able to afford college. Luckily his school helps him with his autism in ways that keep his spark for learning alive. They see his passion and potential for success and encourage his love for learning new things. They take his interest and use them to teach him other things! I still worry as a mother how I will pay for his college, most of all keeping him craving the knowledge of the world. At five years old asking to watch “Bill” is beyond beautifu.
