Oliver loves to grow his understanding of the world and those around him. He is always the first to volunteer to try something new in order to show others that even if it seems intimidating you CAN do it. Even if it doesn't go as you planned!
Favorite Subject & Why
His favorite subject is science because he loves the scientific process and finding solutions. Even with sensory sensitivities to goopy and wet things he gets in the mess when we are doing an experiment and solving a problem! Second to science would probably be reading because reading is everywhere. You can read comics, video game prompts, highway signs, and pretty much everything in-between. Oliver learned to read as a toddler by navigateing us through grocery shopping via the aisle signs!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Oliver is AuDHD and has been homeschooled for 4 years. While there are free ways to learn MOST things. Schooling and education do come with costs such as materials for art, science, and writing, curriculum, educational experiences, and so much more. We have been lucky enough to utilize our local library system and save costs on books and learning resources as well as free classes and social groups. Oliver would be using the money to buy a telescope, a Microscope, and a new computer to begin code
