Why They Love Being a Student

Our daughter loves being a student because every day is a chance to learn something new and make someone feel included. On her first day of kindergarten, she said her goal was to “make friends with everyone at school.” Since then she’s done just that, building friendships with classmates, teachers, and staff. For her, school is a place where learning, kindness, and curiosity all go hand in hand.

Favorite Subject & Why

Her favorite subjects are reading, writing, and math. When we asked which one she loved most, she smiled and said, “all of them, because I like to learn.” She loves reading new stories, writing her ideas (what she can now), and solving math problems. For her, every subject is an adventure and another chance to discover something new.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

This award would help us nurture her love of learning through books, science experiences, and educational opportunities that expand her curiosity. Additionally, the award funds would allow us to start saving for her future college career. She already loves reading, writing, math, and STEAM activities, and this support would allow her to explore those passions even further while continuing to grow as a student who leads with both knowledge and kindness.
