How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Depends on the rules. If possible, her mother and I would want to put that towards tutoring and summer programs now. The goal would be to stimulate and reinforce her drive for learning. In my experience, staying engaged is the hardest part of learning for kids as smart as Olivia when there isn't a ton of money. This award would make it so we don't have to sacrifice her engagement because we have bills to pay. If we're not able to use it that way, then it would go towards college tuition later.
