My child loves being a student because he enjoys applying the skills he learns to his everyday life and gaining more knowledge each day than he had the day before. He is very future-oriented and has a strong desire to learn many life skills that he knows will help him succeed later in life.
Favorite Subject & Why
My son’s favorite academic subject is mathematics because everything is factual and solutions can often be found using multiple methods and verified. He enjoys discovering ways to apply formulas in real-world situations and recognizing patterns in numbers. He also loves writing, art, and science, and hopes to combine these interests in the future by using illustration and writing to communicate scientific ideas.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award could help his teachers purchase lab equipment such as microscopes, beakers, and test tubes to support hands-on learning. He is also very interested in scientific illustration, especially related to marine life, and would love opportunities to learn from experts and explore this field further. Funding could also help support educational travel or study abroad experiences.
