Why They Love Being a Student

He has a thirst for knowledge and loves to learn new things. He puts in time and effort on his own accord to research new subjects and ideas of interest to learn more than is taught in the classroom. He takes pride in doing well in school and expanding his mind.

Favorite Subject & Why

I'd say probably history. Since he was little he has really wanted to know the history of things. Asking and reading and exploring the origin of say Legos or Marvel characters enhanced his experience with the toys and opened his mind to the vast world around him. He loves to understand the connectivity and shared history of us all. I will say Science is a close second as it continually amazes and excites him; tapping into how we and the world around us is so diverse yet similarly interconnected!

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

It would be an amazing opportunity for him to be able to pursue studies outside of his city school curriculum. Either in camps or special experiences while still young or after in support of being able to attend university. He comes from a single parent household with very little wiggle room financially sadly for funding outside experiences that he would love, be so grateful to attend and absolutely benefit from.
