Why They Love Being a Student

For my son, being a student isn't just about a classroom; it’s about decoding the world. While he navigates the world with autism, he views his unique perspective as a superpower for discovery. He loves being a student because every lesson is a puzzle piece falling into place. He thrives on the 'aha!' moments—whether he’s mastering a complex formula or building a new project—and his grit allows him to see challenges not as barriers, but as experiments waiting for a solution."

Favorite Subject & Why

"Science is his favorite subject because it has no boundaries, especially when it comes to space. He is drawn to the logic of the cosmos and the 'building' aspect of space travel. He loves that space requires both intense focus and a fast-learning mind—two things he excels at. To him, studying the stars is the ultimate way to turn his natural curiosity into a lifelong mission of discovery."

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

This $20,000 award is the launchpad for my son’s future. His autism gives him a brilliant, unique perspective; he uses "grit" to master complex LEGO engineering and space science at lightning speed. These funds will provide advanced robotics kits and specialized STEM tools to fuel his hands-on curiosity now, while securing a stable financial foundation for his college education later. It ensures this "favorite student" has the resources to turn his love for the stars into a career.
