Why They Love Being a Student

Sage is a gifted first grader who loves learning amongst his peers. The process of sharing and asking questions about any subject excites him and creates a positive environment in and outside the classroom. Sage is truly a joy to be around, because his inquisitiveness is contagious and inspiring. Sage is eager to explore and further his knowledge on topics of interest such as environmental science. His teachers and peers cherish his presence.

Favorite Subject & Why

Sage's favorite subject is science, because he loves to connect and learn about wildlife and the world he lives in. Sage enjoys reading the “Who would Win” books because he is able to learn more about an animal's defense mechanisms. His favorite animals are birds of prey. He bird watches everyday trying to spot red-tailed hawks. Sage has a creative mind because he enjoys building Legos and creates Legos out of birds he spots. Sage loves going on nature hikes and embracing his environment.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

The $20,000 will have a significant impact on Sage's educational journey and goals allowing him the opportunity to attend an array of educational and extracurricular classes. Sage will be able to expand his interest and study them in depth with financial support. The goals I have for Sage are for him to be well-rounded and versed in science, art and sports. If Sage is chosen as America's Favorite Student he will excel in all his classes and have a quality educational experience.
