Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
My son is fascinated by the world around him. He is far from complacent and continually strives to grow in every aspect of his life. He isn’t just a student at school, but a student of the world. He loves meeting new people, exploring new languages and accents, and learning about history. He challenges himself through sudoku, chess, math, and piano with consistent dedication. Though he can be hard on himself, he finds true joy and pride in seeing his progress and accomplishments.
Favorite Subject & Why
His favorite school subject is by far math; however, at home he becomes deeply engaged in science conversations with his dad. Together, they dive into everything from circuit experiments to black holes to the physics behind rocket engines. He takes his curiosity to a deeper level, making the world his own backyard—traveling, exploring, and connecting ideas through math and culture. ****Get to know Sebastian - https://neddydaza.my.canva.site/seb-americas-favorite-student****
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Sebastian was born with two great loves—tennis and the universe—and we recognized them before he even turned 2. Now at 7 years old, that hasn’t changed; only the conversations have evolved—from “moon” and “popcorn feet” to “I want to be the number one professional tennis player and an astrophysicist.” This award would help support his dreams of one day becoming a Beaver at Caltech or MIT, but also allow him to pay it forward by helping other children discover and experience the beauty of STEAM.
Help Sebastian become America's Favorite Student by casting your free daily vote, or make an even bigger impact when you vote by donation, supporting The Planetary Society and their mission to inspire curiosity and help shape the future of space exploration for everyone.
