Favorite Subject & Why

Serena’s favorite subjects are part of her school’s STREAM program (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Science especially sparks her curiosity and creativity while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. She enjoys exploring concepts through hands-on learning—whether rubbing her hands together to understand friction or building a paper airplane to demonstrate how a push creates force and makes it fly.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Serena is a first-generation college student. Due to our family’s limited income, we are only able to contribute a small amount toward her higher education goals. This funding would greatly assist with the costs of tuition, fees, and textbooks, while also reducing the amount she would need to borrow in student loans. Receiving this support would allow Serena to focus more on her academic success and less on the financial burden of paying for college.
