Why They Love Being a Student

Sierra loves being a student because knowledge is power. Sierra loves school and learning new things. She values her education and tries her best. She likes to be outgoing and school allows her to do that academically. Sierra's favorite part about being a student is learning from her mistakes and getting better at the subject she is learning.

Favorite Subject & Why

Sierra's favorite subject is Art. Ever since Sierra was a little girl in head start she loved to paint and draw. She has been in art clubs and was once the president of it. Art let's her do anything she could imagine. Learning how to use new materials and mediums is exciting. She is good at a lot of things she does. Painting is definitely something she is passionate about. In school she paints cars at a BOCES program, she uses her creativity in her work there.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

Financially this would make a difference because Sierra starting a new more adult chapter of her life and career. This funding would make thinking about collage less stressful and more of an option. Sierra isnt planning on college soon currently. Sierra has always loved learning and being creative. She is a hard working high-school senior saving her money to start a life.
