Why They Love Being a Student

Sofie is always striving to get perfect scores and learn as much as she can. She feels very accomplished and proud when she grades well and her teachers complement her often. She will be a student for many years because she is striving to be a pediatric ENT as her career. Which will include many more lessons, assignments, and lots of information to absorb which she loves and enjoys sharing what she learns with me everyday she comes home from school!

Favorite Subject & Why

Health science is her favorite subject because she loves learning how the body works so she can help other people that have had medical issues as she has struggled with for the last 11 years. It's always a frustrating journey to discover what's wrong with your body and having a doctor who knows how to help you is what she strives for.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

My children's father passed away last year after a long battle with stage 4 cancer. So it's up to me to put them all through college and be successful in their careers. With Sofie going into the medical field there will be many years of schooling and tuition that needs to be paid for so basically any amount of money would help and we are all big fans of Bill Nye! Just being able to meet him would be amazing!
