My daughter is the definition of strength and kindness. Even battling cancer and losing her dad she never stopped caring about others.

America's Favorite Student will share their educational journey in the pages of Reader’s Digest, highlighting the power of learning and inspiring readers nationwide.
Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Stevie's favorite part about being a student is getting the opportunity to learn and to go to school and see all her friends.
Favorite Subject & Why
Stevie is only in kindergarten, but I would say art is her favorite. She's always been a very craft loving kid. While going through cancer treatment, at one point, her hands wouldn't work. Once she was able to hold pipe cleaners and put beads on them, that's all she did! We have many bracelets she has made while beating cancer! And she has, of course, given many away to make others happy.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Stevie will have life long side effects from her cancer treatment. Including cognitive delays and processing disorders. The money would go toward any additional tutoring/help she many need to get her through school to live as successfully as she can in her adult life.
