Why They Love Being a Student

My child, Surai, loves being a student because of the experience she gains from going to school every day. She loves to learn new things and always comes to me after school to teach me about the stuff she’s learnt! She’s also a really good teacher to me! She loves the opportunity she gets for a bright future every day and she also LOVES to socialize with her friends at school! She believes that going to school was a big step in conquering her fear of public speaking, She loves her student life!

Favorite Subject & Why

My daughter’s favorite subject is Science, specifically biology, she finds the human body very interesting, she loves to look up stuff about it and learn more about the nervous system, muscles, and bones. I don’t know where her love for anatomy comes from but I think it’s cool that she’s into something meaningful.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

With us being from a low income household, 20,000 would mean the world to us, especially her, with $20,000 we’d have enough money to cover most of her college expenses, she wants to attend FAMU but isn’t on the path to have a scholarship due to her school not having enough spots for it, we’d be able to pay for further education and dorm fees, that way she doesn’t have to worry about it financially, as she’s prone to stress and worry. $20,000 would allow her to pursue her dreams freely.
