I love being a student because learning gives me the power to understand the world and change the future. After growing up in foster care, education became something I fought hard to hold onto. I’m naturally curious and constantly asking questions about people, psychology, and society. For me, school isn’t just about grades. It’s about building knowledge that can help me help others.

My favorite subject is psychology because I’ve always been interested in how people think, feel, and behave. Psychology helps me understand why people do the things they do and how experiences shape us. It also connects to my own life and what I’ve been through. Learning about the mind makes me want to keep studying so I can one day help people heal and understand themselves better.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

A $20,000 award would help take a lot of pressure off while I focus on school. It would help with tuition, books, and the things I need to succeed in college while studying psychology. Coming from foster care, financial support like this would make a big difference and allow me to focus on learning, building my future, and working toward a career where I can help others.
