Favorite Subject & Why
Tera‘s favorite subject in school is physics. She loves learning new things and loves to question & ask why and how things work in life. She has a very curious mind and hopes that this will help her with better understanding about the universe. Her interested began in elementary school and would get excited when she would find books/articles about the universe. She started making her own research and also found interest in Bill Nye, the science guy & Neil deGrasse Tyson.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
The $20,000 award would help out Tera with tuition, housing, transportation, study materials and educational resources— like hiring a tutor if needed. A bonus would be in hopes to visit museums and other educational places to help with better understanding of the universe. The more education the better. She goes by a saying that says “ knowledge is power“.
