Why They Love Being a Student

Trynidy is the living definition of restless curiosity. "Why" and "how" are prominent in her vocabulary. From sunrise to sundown, she spends her days tackling the problems of the world and asking questions the rest of us take for granted. Her educational path hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies. Trynidy has struggled with ADHD, but has not let this stop her. Alongside her teachers, she has persevered finding balance between new behavior habits and the support of her classmates to grow.

Favorite Subject & Why

Science has a special place in Trynidy's heart and mind. She studies the world around her with wonder and fearlessly dives head first into her search for knowledge. Outside school, she spends her days on the family farm designing products on her 3D printer, searching for discoveries with her metal detector, and learning agricultural processes from her Dad. In her mind, there is no question that science cannot solve, given the right balance of unbendable optimism and passion.

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

In the vein of Dr. Suess, when I think of her future my mind goes to, "Oh the places she'll go." Trynidy's educational goals change with the wind, in the way that only the unbridled excitement of a nine year old can. One day she'll be a veterinarian, the next she's going to be a scientist. The only guarantee I make is that her passion for learning will burn bright for entire life. All the funds will be saved so she can pursue any college education she wants and go forth and change the world.
