Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
My son loves being a student because he sees learning as both a privilege and a responsibility. He is naturally curious and loves understanding how the world works, often connecting new ideas to what he already knows and sharing that knowledge with others. Challenges motivate him to keep learning, and even with dyslexia and dysgraphia, he views them as a superpower that strengthens his creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving.
Favorite Subject & Why
Science is his favorite subject because it allows him to explore how the world works and understand the purpose behind things. Since he was three years old, he has been fascinated with dinosaurs and spent years eagerly learning everything he could about them. That curiosity has grown into interests in Legos and robotics, where he enjoys building, experimenting, and discovering how different systems work together.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A monetary prize would let my son explore science through robotics, coding, STEM, astronomy, maker camps, hands-on experiences, and science kits at home—helping him discover what excites him most. He wants to be a scientist, and with so many paths to take, these opportunities would fuel his curiosity, grow his skills, and guide his future goals.
