Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Westley loves to learn. He soaks up information like a sponge, even when he doesn’t seem to be paying attention.
Favorite Subject & Why
Westley loves history. He is particularly fascinated with military history. We frequently visit the US Air Force Museum and walking through there with Westley is like having a personal tour guide.
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
Westley does not feel limited by his disability and he sees endless possibilities for his future. After high school, he plans to attend a trade school to become a train engineer. He wants to operate cross-country trains for a while to see and learn more about every state. He said that eventually he will switch to a local train route so he can settle in one place and start a family.
Help Westley become America's Favorite Student by casting your free daily vote, or make an even bigger impact when you vote by donation, supporting The Planetary Society and their mission to inspire curiosity and help shape the future of space exploration for everyone.
