Why They Love Being a Student

William loves to learn! He very rarely is content with superficial answers and wants to know why. He has so much respect for his teachers (who often tell us “He’s like a 70-year old man!”) and LOVES to teach others what he’s learned. He is always engaged at school and is so happy to learn new things! He loves to share his knowledge with others and does so with a wonderful amount of excitement! We always say “be curious, be kind, be brave!”

Favorite Subject & Why

William loves all things science and hopes to create his own show “Will Ya Gimmy Some Science!” some day! He loves learning how the world works and asks questions that I’ve never thought to ask even as an adult. He enjoys teaching others about what he has learned. He loves that science explains things so thoroughly even down to the cellular level (and often talks about how white blood cells fight the bad guys). He is amazed by how the body works and has learned the gastrointestinal tract!

How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals

William has wanted to become an astronaut since the moment he found out what one was! He specifically wants to be an astronaut chef - not only exploring the stars but cooking food for his team! This money would support his desire to explore the stars!
