Learn MoreWhy They Love Being a Student
Xander has always been an independent kid and he loves learning because it gives him the chance to "do it his big self". The Montessori school that he attends gives them a hands on educational experience where they don't just read it in a book, they put it into practice in the classroom. He gets excited when he is able to learn new skills and grow his ability to do for himself.
Favorite Subject & Why
Art class is his most favorite behind math and reading. He visits "The Peace Place" at his school where they learn to express themselves creatively in many different ways. He loves to draw, paint and create stories with his art!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
A $20,000 award would be put away for safe keeping for us to use towards his higher education goals when he reaches high school and college. An amount of that size would make a meaningful difference in our lives.
