I love being a student because of the interactions you can have, not only with the subjects you take but with your teachers and classmates. That’s where I believe real learning comes from. Being able to talk and communicate with your fellow peers creates an ultimate environment to learn and excel in.
Favorite Subject & Why
My favorite subject would have to be Psychology. I’ve always been interested in how and why people are able to do the things that they do. Psychology allows me to dive deeper into the brain and learn about mental disorders, how the brain communicates with the rest of the body and more to hopefully be able to help others in the future!
How $20,000 Would Support Their Goals
The $20,000 award would support me by allowing me to further my education in Psychology. It would allow me to take courses with colleges I could only dream about attending such as Dartmouth or Harvard’s PreCollege Programs. I would also save majority of the prize to be able to pay for college as I do plan on getting my Doctorate’s in Forensic Psychology.
